Bikes built around you. Not the other way around.
At Gregario, we focus on the most important part of any bike: the person riding it. Our mission is to create bespoke bikes and builds that work with your body, and align seamlessly with your riding style, goals, and needs.
As an independent bike shop—with no brand ties or sales quotas—we’re in a unique position to offer truly unbiased advice. That means we won’t push you toward one brand or another. Instead, we’ll help you find the frame, components, and setup that genuinely suit you. Our only goal is to make sure you end up with a bike that makes you smile every time you see it.
Because of this mindset—and the deep experience we bring—we’re perfectly set up to guide you through the journey of building a bike that truly fits. For many riders, that journey leads to a custom build, and in some cases, even a fully custom geometry frame. Whatever path you take, we’re here to help you find the setup that makes riding feel just right.
What Does "Custom" Mean at Gregario?
When people talk about custom bikes, they often mean different things. For some, it’s about paint jobs or component choices. For others, it’s about dialing in performance. But no matter what, everyone agrees: it’s all about tailoring a bike to match your riding style, body, and preferences. At Gregario, “custom” can mean a few things—but the most bespoke option we offer is custom geometry.
Custom Geometry
This is what we consider the pinnacle of a custom build—a one-off frameset designed and built specifically for you. No compromises. Everything is fine-tuned to your body’s measurements, riding style, and aesthetic preferences. Whether it's the fit, handling characteristics, or tire clearance you’re after, a custom geometry frame ensures it all works together perfectly.
These bikes are typically built in small workshops by passionate craftspeople. We work closely with some of the best frame builders in the world—names like Cicli Barco, Victoire, Belle Cycles, Terra Bikes, and carbon specialists like Festka and TwentyOne Cycles. Each builder has their own philosophy, materials, and strengths, and we’ll help you find the one that best aligns with your needs.
We’re With You Every Step of the Way
Designing a custom geometry bike can feel overwhelming at first. There are a lot of details and unfamiliar terms—but that’s where we come in. We’ll walk you through the entire process, making sure nothing gets overlooked. From choosing the right frame material to working out ideal stack and reach, we’ll make it smooth, transparent, and exciting.
Custom Builds
If you already know which frame you want—or if a full custom geometry simply isn’t necessary for your body or riding style—then a custom build might be the perfect choice.
This is what most people think of when they hear “custom bike.” You start with a stock frame and build it up with components that match your exact preferences, goals, and riding needs. It’s an ideal option if you:
Want a bike built for a specific use-case
Have performance or comfort requirements that stock builds don’t meet
Enjoy having full control over every part and spec of your setup
Compared to a full custom geometry build, this route is typically faster and more budget-friendly. The trade-off is that the geometry might not be 100% tailored to your body, and you may need to compromise slightly on certain aspects of the frame. That said, for most riders, a well-chosen frame and smart component selection make for an incredible ride—especially with expert help guiding the process. This is exactly what our Build & Find Service is for.
Want to build something unique—whether from scratch or starting with a frame you already love? We’re here to help you make the right choices and get every detail just right.
